A-Team Donates to OUR COMMUNITY

A-Team Construction, working alongside Haven Roofs for Vets, committed to donate 2 roofs annually to veterans in need. These veterans apply to Minnesota Military and are then selected by Haven for Heroes. We have since been honored to have donated 6 roofs to veteran families in need. We love our Vets!

Haven for Hero’s is a pretty amazing way to use the old Anoka State Hospital!

Haven for Heroes’ mission is to provide a place of safety and refuge for Veterans and/or their family members who, for whatever reason, need assistance.

Cottage No. 3 was in need of a new roof and we were lucky enough to be one of the groups of people able to help them get it!

▪️Atomic Recycling donated the dumpsters

And A-Team was able to partner with Hoffman Weber Construction & McGough to remove and replace the roof on this historic building!

Haven for Heroes, founded in December of 2018, is a stand-alone, non-profit, substance and alcohol-free board and lodging facility, that provides recovery and transitional housing to service members and veterans.

A-Team is also involved in Every Third Saturday - a community based around fostering hope and supporting post traumatic growth for veterans. We sponsor a Cohort in their Warrior's Path Program which is designed to use the trauma they have suffered as a source of strength to live their best life in the civilian world.

Since 2018 we have been sponsoring a hole annually at the MN DAV Chapter 39 Golf Tournament. This important organization fundraiser helps support local veterans and families.

A-Team recently started working with Roofers In Recovery. There was a pre-selected work day that multiple roofing companies came together on and each donated the proceeds from one roof that day for funding for those of us who are struggling with addiction.
